The Smells: Purple Push Pop comes in soft, earthy, peppery, lightly citrusy, and just sweet enough to justify the name without turning into a full carnival of nonsense. Which is good, because the world already has enough things pretending “purple” automatically means grape soda.

Let’s take a look at the numbers.

Beta-caryophyllene leads at 2.60%, giving this blend its main structure. That brings warm pepper, dry wood, and a grounded earthy backbone right up front. It keeps the sweeter side from floating away into candy fog, where so many purple-leaning profiles go to lose their dignity.

Alpha-humulene follows at 0.98%, adding another layer of earthy, slightly hoppy depth. Between the caryophyllene and humulene, Purple Push Pop has a pretty sturdy indica foundation. Not loud gas, not aggressive funk, more of a smooth earthy-spice base with some weight behind it.

Limonene at 0.80% gives it a clean citrus lift. Not sharp lemon cleaner, thankfully. More like a little citrus peel brightness tucked into the background. Then linalool at 0.41% softens things with a floral sweetness that fits nicely with the Purple Push Pop, Candy Fumez, Candy Rain, and Cereal Milk parts of the blend.

Fenchol at 0.24% adds a faint cool herbal edge, while beta-pinene at 0.17% and alpha-pinene at 0.13% bring just a little green freshness. Myrcene is low at 0.11%, so this is not a big musky fruit bomb. The heavier feel here is coming more from the caryophyllene/humulene/linalool combo than from myrcene doing its usual “gravity got hands” routine.

All in all, our lab rats report earthy spice, soft floral sweetness, faint citrus, and a light creamy candy note. It smells purple-ish, but in a restrained way.

The Tastes: The inhale starts smooth and lightly sweet, with a soft citrus-floral edge. The limonene and linalool show up early, giving it a little brightness and sweetness before the heavier notes take over.

Mid-palate, the caryophyllene moves in and starts putting furniture wherever it wants. Warm pepper, light wood, and earthy spice give the flavor some backbone. The humulene adds that dry herbal depth underneath, keeping the whole thing grounded.

The exhale leans earthy and peppery, with a faint creamy sweetness hanging around from the Cereal Milk side. There’s also a little candy-like softness, but it’s subtle. This isn’t a melted freezer pop situation. It’s more like purple candy got dragged through an herb garden and somehow came out better for it.

One lab rat described it as “peppery purple milk,” which sounds illegal in several jurisdictions, but the flavor note is annoyingly useful.

The Feels: Purple Push Pop lands solidly in indica territory, but it isn’t a one-note knockout. The PhytoFact wheel leans heavily into comfort, with some calm and relaxation behind it, and that fits the numbers pretty well.

The onset has a little brightness from the limonene, but it settles quickly into a calmer, body-forward lane. The caryophyllene and humulene bring the grounded weight, while the linalool smooths out the edges. The result is comfortable, relaxed, and easygoing without feeling completely flattened.

Because the myrcene is only 0.11%, this does not look like a classic myrcene-heavy couchlock monster. It’s more composed than that. Overall with 79% total active cannabinoids and 6.3% terpene content, Purple Push Pop by The Dope Depot delivers a smooth indica profile with a nice balance of spice, earth, citrus, and soft sweetness.

Visually, it has a pale golden, creamy, glossy consistency with a clean wet top. It looks smooth and well homogenized, with no weird separation or dry crumble cosplay. The lighter color also fits the softer profile pretty well, because apparently the jar decided to participate in the theme.

The biggest strength here is balance. It does not overcommit to candy, fruit, gas, or earth. It lands in the middle with a soft purple-spice profile that feels approachable but still structured.
