The Tastes: As reported by our lab rats, Permanent Marker has some range, which is nice. The backbone is still our comfy captain beta-caryophyllene at 1.57%, so yes, there’s spice. But it’s not overwhelming this time, just present and grounding.

What changes the whole profile is limonene at 0.86%. That’s a real number, not a rounding error. It brings in a bright citrus edge, cutting through the heavier notes and keeping things from tasting like straight peppered bark.

Linalool and myrcene both showing up at 0.34% come in as a softening layer. That’s your floral sweetness and slight fruitiness, which is probably where the “marker” vibe turns into something oddly pleasant instead of something that should be fueling your car.

Alpha-pinene at 0.28% adds a noticeable green, slightly sharp freshness, and fenchol at 0.21% leans herbal, almost minty-bitter. Humulene at 0.50% keeps everything slightly dry and grounded so it doesn’t drift into candy territory.
