The Tastes: As reported by our lab rats, and the PhytoFact sheet by SC Labs, beta-caryophyllene shows up at 3.11% and does the overwhelming majority of the work here. That’s a pretty comfy number for a cart, and it dominates everything. Expect heavy pepper, dry spice, and a slightly woody, almost abrasive bite.

Backing that up is alpha-humulene at 0.94%, reinforcing that dry, earthy bitterness. Together, those two create a profile that leans hard into spicy, earthy, and slightly astringent territory.

There is some attempt at balance. Limonene at 0.50% adds a mild citrus lift, but it’s more of a background note than a defining feature. Fenchol at 0.21% is interesting, adding a slightly herbal, almost green, borderline bitter edge that keeps things from feeling one-dimensional, even if it’s still not exactly “friendly.”

Alpha and beta pinene combined hit 0.18%, which gives a faint freshness, but it’s not strong enough to cut through the great comfy wall of spice. Myrcene is basically absent at 0.03%, so there’s no softness, no cushion, no rounding out the edges.

On the inhale, it’s sharp, spicy, and dry. On the exhale, it leans into pepper, earth, and a slightly bitter herbal finish. If you like smooth, sweet, or fruity profiles, this is not for you. If you like things that taste like they’re arguing with you, here you go.

The Feels: Carbon Fiber sits in a more terp-forward zone compared to a lot of carts in this price tier. Caryophyllene-heavy profiles tend to feel more grounded and body-oriented, and that certainly holds true here. There’s a noticeable calm, slightly weighted feeling, but without heavy sedation.

The low myrcene keeps it from getting sleepy, while the limonene adds just enough lift to keep it functional giving a net effect of a balanced hybrid, leaning slightly relaxing with a clear-headed edge. Not particularly euphoric. Not especially energizing. More like a steady, mildly calming baseline.

Overall, with 78% total active cannabinoids and 5.87% terpene content, Carbon Fiber by The Dope Depot isn’t trying to be pretty. It’s not trying to be sweet. It’s not even trying to be broadly appealing.

It’s a caryophyllene bomb with structural support from humulene, and everything else is just there to keep it from collapsing into monotony.

From a data standpoint, it actually lines up well with what you’d call a “technically solid” extract. It has decent terpene retention for a decarbed product, clear dominant profile, and no weird inconsistencies.
