Tangy Melons is custom blend of Secret Tangy Breath and Melon Driver, in an easy to use 510 threaded cart. The Melon Driver HTE used was actually a fresh frozen extraction of a strain called Devil’s Den, renamed because someone was afraid to dance with the devil under the pale moonlight.

Tangy Melons Cart PhytoFact Sheet
The Tastes: As reported by our lab rats, Tangy Melons sits in that citrus-forward lane, but it’s not the juicy fruit bomb the name might suggest. Beta-caryophyllene at 1.65% leads the structure, bringing a warm, peppery, slightly woody backbone that keeps everything grounded. Humulene at 0.67% reinforces that dryness with a slightly bitter, earthy edge. That’s what keeps the profile from drifting into candy territory.
Limonene at 0.56% provides the “tangy” part, but at this level it’s more of a supporting brightness than a dominant citrus blast. Think light citrus peel, not fresh-squeezed juice.
The middle layer is where things start to get interesting. Fenchol brings an herbal, slightly minty freshness and alpha-terpineol adds a soft, rounded, slightly floral body, finishing with the smooth floral sweetness of linalool. That combination gives the profile a softer, more “blended fruit” feel instead of sharp melon or citrus notes There’s also a touch of alpha-pinene at 0.17% adding a light green edge, but nothing dominant.
On the exhale, it finishes earthy and slightly citrusy with a floral-herbal softness. More composed than loud. So yeah, “melons” is doing some heavy lifting here, but that makes sense considering where the name came from. The chemistry is more citrus-earth with a soft fruit impression than anything distinctly melon-forward.
The Feels: Tangy Melons sits right in that balanced middle ground. Enough terpene content to matter, not enough to dominate. Effect-wise, this leans sativa but stays controlled. Limonene gives a mild initial lift, while the presence of THCV at 0.7% adds a slightly sharper, more focused edge to the headspace.
Caryophyllene and humulene quickly ground the experience, preventing it from becoming jittery or overly energetic. Linalool smooths everything into a calm, slightly relaxed mental state, which pulls it back from being a pure “go mode” cart. The result is functional uplift with a relaxed backbone. You’re awake, but not wired. Moving, but not rushing.
Overall, with 78% total active cannabinoids and 5.31% terpene content, Tangy Melons by The Dope Depot has a profile that reflects a more restrained, balanced approach rather than a loud fruit-forward expression.
The terpene stack is anchored by caryophyllene and humulene, with limonene providing brightness and a mix of fenchol, terpineol, and linalool creating a softer, blended fruit impression. The fresh frozen input helps preserve some nuance, but the final result still leans more earthy-citrus than distinctly melon.
It’s not a flavor explosion, but it is cohesive, functional, and easy to come back to without getting fatigued. Which, depending on your tolerance for loud carts, might actually be the point.
Rating: Our lab rats give Tangy Melons 7 out of 10 pieces of cheese.
