The Smells: As reported by our lab rats, the first thing that hits is the citrus. It’s not subtle either. Limonene at 0.62% is doing real work here, backed by alpha-pinene at 0.50% and beta-pinene at 0.33%, so you get that sharp, bright, almost sparkling nose. But this isn’t just citrus cleaner vibes. There’s weight behind it.
Beta-caryophyllene at 1.40% and alpha-humulene at 0.54% bring in a peppery, slightly earthy backbone, while myrcene at 0.57% softens everything just enough to keep it from feeling thin.
Then the 0.55% linalool sneaks in and adds a faint floral sweetness that actually ties the whole blend together. That’s the part that keeps this from smelling like ten strains arguing with each other.
Overall our lab rats report the smell is citrus-forward with a layered spice and floral back end. They say it’s surprisingly cohesive for something this chaotic on paper.
The Tastes: The inhale is full of bright citrus and light fruit, very mimosa-adjacent without going sugary. The apricot/gas/gelato aspect shows up as a soft, rounded sweetness rather than anything loud or artificial.
Mid-palate brings in that caryophyllene spice. Slight pepper, slight warmth, keeps it grounded, while the exhale leans earthy and a little herbal, with just enough lingering sweetness to remind you this was supposed to be fun. There’s a little blur to it. But in this case, the blur works.
The Feels: Mauimosa sits squarely in that potency-first, terp-support range. Translation: it hits quickly and clearly.
You get a noticeable mental lift right up front. Not jittery, not racy, just alert. The pinene/limonene combo keeps it functional, while the myrcene and linalool prevent it from going full jitter juice squirrel mode.
There’s some decent body here as well. It’s not too heavy, but definitely present. Enough to feel like a full-spectrum experience instead of a stripped-down THC delivery system. This is daytime-friendly without being boring about it.
Overall, with 91% total active cannabinoids and 5.77% terpenes, our lab rats say this one blows away the majority of what they see in the Oregon market for the bottom shelf price range. It tastes and smells amazing without needing to chase 10% terps. Although imagine if it did!
Visually, it tracks with what you’d expect. Wet, glossy, slightly whipped consistency. Looks stable, not dry, not soupy. The real win here is balance. It doesn’t try to be everything at once, even though it technically is.
