The Tastes: Lazer Beans comes in with a bright citrus top note, but this is not some dainty lemon sparkle situation. The inhale starts citrusy and lightly sweet, then quickly drops into pepper, dry wood, and earthy spice. The middle has a faint creamy sweetness from that Vanilla Bean/Candy Pave side, but the backend is all structure. Dry, resinous, slightly bitter, and grounded.

There’s a little fruit hiding in the background, but it’s not the loudest thing in the room. The main profile is more like citrus peel, pepper, dry herbs, and a soft dessert edge trying to behave itself in public.

Let’s take a look at the numbers.

Beta-caryophyllene leads hard at 3.11%, which gives Lazer Beans its main frame. That’s a big caryophyllene number for a cart, and it shows up as pepper, dry wood, resin, and warm spice. This is the terpene doing the bulk of the discipline work here, keeping the sweeter genetics from turning into another anonymous candy cart with a vape pen and a dream.

Alpha-humulene follows at 1.26%, reinforcing the dry, woody, herbal side of the profile. Caryophyllene and humulene together make this feel more grounded than the sativa label might suggest. That pairing brings a firm backbone, almost like the profile has been told to stand up straight and stop embarrassing the family.

Limonene at 0.73% brings the citrus lift. It’s not dominant, but it’s definitely doing useful work on the front end. Expect more citrus peel than syrupy lemon candy. It brightens the profile without taking over.

Myrcene at 0.57% adds some earthy depth and rounds the edges, while linalool at 0.16% gives a faint floral softness. Alpha-pinene at 0.15%, fenchol at 0.14%, alpha-terpineol at 0.09%, and beta-pinene at 0.08% add small green, herbal, and lightly fresh notes. None of them are running the show, but they keep the background from feeling flat.

The Feels: Lazer Beans reads like a structured sativa rather than a frantic one. The limonene gives the onset some brightness, but the caryophyllene and humulene pull the experience into a more grounded lane pretty quickly. This isn’t one of those sativas that feels like your brain has opened seventeen browser tabs and all of them are playing audio. It has lift, but it also has brakes.

The THCV at 0.7% is worth noting too. That’s not massive, but it’s enough to add a little sharper edge to the cannabinoid profile. Combined with the low-to-moderate myrcene and the pinene/fenchol support, this should lean more clear and functional than heavy or foggy.

The relaxation and comfort side is still present, mostly from the caryophyllene-heavy backbone, but this doesn’t look like a couch-lock cart. It feels more like a daytime or early evening sativa for people who want some energy and focus without sacrificing all body comfort.

Overall, with 77% total active cannabinoids and 7.01% terpene content, Lazer Beans by The Dope Depot is a citrus-pepper sativa cart with more backbone than sweetness.

The terpene profile is built around a strong beta-caryophyllene and alpha-humulene foundation, with limonene bringing brightness and myrcene adding some weight underneath. The result is peppery, woody, citrusy, lightly sweet, and dry on the finish.

From a formulation standpoint, this one makes sense. Candy Pave and Vanilla Bean give the profile a soft sweet side, while Pile Driver, ATF, and Devil Driver help push it toward sharper, spicier, more active territory. The numbers back that up. It’s not a candy bomb. It’s a structured sativa with some dessert genetics hiding under a layer of pepper and citrus.
