The Tastes: On the inhale expect spice-forward with a little citrus cutting through. The middle is earthy and slightly bitter with a soft floral rounding. The exhale is dry and peppery, with a lovely herbal finish that lingers. Let’s see what the numbers have to say.

Beta-caryophyllene at 3.12% is the entire spine of this thing. That’s a healthy, comfy number, and it delivers a dense, peppery, slightly woody backbone that everything else has to work around. Nothing escapes it.

Alpha-humulene at 1.31% doubles down on that structure with a dry, slightly bitter, earthy edge, pushing the profile firmly away from anything soft or dessert-like. Then limonene at 0.97% cuts through all of that with a clean citrus brightness, which is where the Mimosa side starts to peek through. It’s not juicy, but it’s clearly there, adding lift and contrast.

Linalool at 0.41% helps bridge the gap, adding a soft floral sweetness that rounds the sharper edges just enough to keep this from feeling harsh. Myrcene at 0.53% adds a bit of fruit weight and body, but it’s not dominating. More support than spotlight.

The Feels: Dante’s Mimsy lands in that structured hybrid zone that leans slightly heavy. The onset has a noticeable but controlled lift, driven by limonene and supported by THCV at 0.7%, which gives a bit of mental clarity and focus.

That window doesn’t last long. Caryophyllene and humulene take over quickly, pulling the experience into a grounded, physically settled state. You feel it more in the body than the head. Myrcene adds a mild weight, while linalool smooths everything out, preventing it from getting too dense or uncomfortable.

The end result is a cart that starts lightly bright and focused then transitions into grounded, slightly heavy territory, with a calm, controlled, and body-forward finish.

Overall, with 83% total active cannabinoids and 7.77% terpene content, Dante’s Mimsy by The Dope Depot is a terpene profile built around dominant structure with controlled contrast.

The pairing of high caryophyllene and humulene creates a dry, spice-driven backbone, while limonene provides just enough brightness to keep it from feeling flat. Linalool and myrcene round out the edges without softening the core too much.

From a formulation standpoint, this is restraint again doing its job. With that much going into the blend, it could have easily turned into noise. Instead, the dominant terpenes were allowed to define a clear direction. The name sounds like a Victorian insult. The cart itself is dialed in.

Rating: Our lab rats give Dante’s Mimsy 7 pieces of cheese.
