The Tastes: On the inhale, expect bright citrus, dry pepper, and a little skunky herbal lift. The middle gets more grounded, moving into woody spice, earth, and a faint floral sweetness. The exhale finishes peppery, lightly bitter, and herbal, with a little citrus-skunk edge that hangs around without turning harsh.

For a blend called Thunder Skunky, this isn’t some cartoon stink bomb. The skunk is there more as herbal funk and dry bite than full locker-room warfare. Frankly, disappointing for chaos enthusiasts, but better for anyone trying to taste the cart without being assaulted by a compost bin wearing sunglasses.

Let’s see what the numbers say.

Beta-caryophyllene leads at 2.81%, giving Thunder Skunky its main structure. That brings pepper, dry wood, and resinous spice through the middle and finish. It keeps the brighter sativa side from getting too thin or floaty.

Alpha-humulene follows at 1.01%, adding dry earth and a slightly bitter finish. Together with caryophyllene, it gives this cart a grounded backbone underneath the citrus and skunkier herbal notes.

Limonene at 0.77% brings the main citrus lift. It shows up as citrus peel and light brightness on the inhale, not candy lemon or fake fruit. Linalool at 0.60% adds a soft floral smoothness, which helps round off the sharper pepper and herbal edges.

Myrcene at 0.40% gives the profile a little body, while terpinolene at 0.25% adds some bright herbal-sativa character. Alpha-pinene at 0.20%, fenchol at 0.19%, alpha-terpineol at 0.12%, and beta-pinene at 0.08% fill in the background with green, piney, floral, and fresh herbal notes.

The Feels: Thunder Skunky lands as a sativa with a grounded finish. The limonene, terpinolene, and pinene give the onset some lift and clarity. It should feel brighter up front, with enough movement to fit the sativa label without immediately turning into jitter juice for people who already have too many browser tabs open.

Then the caryophyllene, humulene, linalool, and myrcene pull things back toward comfort and calm. That gives the experience more balance than the name might suggest.

Overall, with 72% total active cannabinoids and 7.53% terpene content, Thunder Skunky by The Dope Depot is a peppery, citrus-herbal sativa with earthy structure, soft floral edges, and a restrained skunky finish.

The terpene profile is built around caryophyllene, humulene, limonene, linalool, myrcene, and terpinolene. That gives it spice, dry earth, citrus lift, floral smoothness, mild body, and a little sativa brightness.

From a formulation standpoint, this works because Thailac Skunk brings the older-school herbal-skunk direction, while Thunder Junky adds more modern gas, spice, and structure. The result is bright enough to feel sativa, grounded enough to stay useful, and skunky enough to justify the name without making everyone nearby file a complaint.

Rating: Our lab rats give Thunder Skunky 8.1 pieces of cheese.
