The Smells: RGM X Death Kiss lands bright, citrusy, peppery, earthy, and surprisingly fresh for something carrying a name that sounds like a rejected death metal album. There’s a strong citrus-oil top end, but underneath that sits a dense mix of spice, herbal pine, soft fruit, and a little funky earth.
Let’s see what the numbers say.
Beta-caryophyllene leads at 1.99%, giving the profile a big peppery backbone. Warm spice, dry wood, and that familiar resinous depth show up immediately.
Limonene is right behind it at 1.72%, which is a decent amount. That pushes a lot of citrus peel and citrus oil into the profile and keeps the heavier indica side from getting too dark. Our lab rats report something closer to fresh lemon rind and orange oil than candy citrus.
Myrcene at 0.62% gives the profile some softness and fruit body, while alpha-humulene at 0.63% adds dry earth and herbal bitterness. Together they give the brighter limonene something substantial to sit on instead of just floating around screaming “lemon” at everyone.
The pinene content is also worth noticing. Beta-pinene comes in at 0.41% with alpha-pinene at 0.30%, adding a fresh green, slightly woody edge. That works especially well with the citrus and helps keep the whole thing feeling lively.
Linalool at 0.29% smooths things out with a soft floral sweetness, while fenchol at 0.24% adds another layer of woody-herbal freshness. Alpha-terpineol at 0.13%, beta-ocimene at 0.12%, and terpinolene at 0.07% add smaller floral, sweet-green, and lightly aromatic accents in the background.
All in all, our lab rats report bright citrus peel, warm pepper, herbal pine, earthy resin, soft fruit, and a little floral sweetness. Loud, layered, and much fresher than the indica label might lead you to expect.
The Tastes: The inhale starts with citrus oil and soft fruit. Limonene shows up immediately with lemon peel and a slightly sweeter orange-like brightness, while the myrcene rounds the edges and gives the fruit some weight.
Mid-palate is where the caryophyllene and humulene start taking over. Pepper, dry earth, woody spice, and a mild herbal bitterness build underneath the citrus.
The pinene becomes more noticeable toward the back half, giving the flavor a clean green edge that almost feels like fresh-cut herbs or pine needles without going full on Christmas tree.
The exhale stays peppery and earthy, but the citrus hangs around much longer than expected. There’s also a soft floral note from the linalool and a faint fruity sweetness underneath everything.
The Feels: RGM X Death Kiss is labeled indica, but this one doesn’t arrive sleepy.
The high limonene and noticeable pinene content give the onset a brighter, more alert feel than you might expect. There’s some mental lift, some clarity, and enough energy to keep things moving before the heavier side starts settling in.
Then the caryophyllene, humulene, myrcene, and linalool gradually pull things toward comfort and relaxation. The PhytoFact wheel leans heavily into comfort, but there’s also a pretty respectable amount of energy and inspiration in the mix.
That makes this feel less like immediate couchlock and more like a gradual transition. Bright and functional early, calmer and more grounded as it develops.
At 79.28% total cannabinoids and 7.02% terpenes, there’s plenty happening here without the numbers getting ridiculous. THCA leads at 71.6%, followed by 2.9% THC, 2.3% CBCA, 1.7% CBGA, 0.4% THCVA, 0.2% CBDA, and 0.2% CBG.
As always, your mileage may vary depending on dose, tolerance, metabolism, and whether your nervous system responds to limonene by becoming productive or merely developing twelve new ideas you’ll never revisit.
Overall, RGM X Death Kiss by The Dope Depot is a bright, citrus-heavy indica with a dense peppery backbone, earthy herbal depth, fresh pine, soft fruit, and a subtle floral finish.
Visually, it has a bright golden-yellow, wet, glossy consistency with some light sugary texture across the surface. It looks terp-rich without looking separated, which is exactly where we want these jars living.
The biggest strength here is the contrast. The caryophyllene and humulene give it that dense, grounded indica structure, while the limonene and pinene keep the profile bright and alive. It has weight without feeling dull, and citrus without turning into lemon cleaner.
With seven different components in the blend, this easily could have turned into terpene soup. Instead, it stays surprisingly coherent. Citrus, pepper, pine, earth, and soft fruit all have room to show up without beating each other to death in the jar.
RGM X Death Kiss is loud, bright, spicy, grounded, and considerably more cheerful than its name suggests. Apparently even Death Kiss can smell like lemons.
As with all high terpene extracts, keep the jar upright and be sure to give it a stir before you take a dab.
Rating: Our lab rats give RGM X Death Kiss 8.7 pieces of cheese.
