Hot Guava Dab PhytoFact Sheet
The Smells: Hot Guava comes across sweet, citrusy, peppery, and earthy, with a softer floral-fruit layer underneath. The name suggests a tropical fruit bomb, but the terpene panel is doing something more grounded than that. The lab rats once again name a thing after fruit and then the chemistry immediately complicates the story.
Beta-caryophyllene leads at 1.85%, giving the profile its peppery, dry-spice backbone. Limonene at 1.09% brings the brighter citrus side, while alpha-humulene at 0.66% reinforces that dry, earthy, slightly woody character.
Behind those, linalool at 0.53% and myrcene at 0.49% soften the edges with floral sweetness, musk, and a little herbal depth. Beta-pinene at 0.24%, fenchol at 0.18%, and alpha-terpineol at 0.15% add a faint green, woody, and fresh herbal lift around the outside.
The overall smell should land somewhere between sweet citrus, pepper, soft fruit, dry earth, and light floral funk.
The Tastes: The inhale starts with citrus and sweet fruit, then quickly moves into pepper and dry spice. There’s a subtle floral softness underneath that keeps the caryophyllene from making the whole thing feel too sharp.
Through the middle, the humulene and myrcene pull the flavor toward earth, herbs, and a little musky depth. The pinene and fenchol add just enough fresh green character to keep it from getting heavy.
The exhale should be the most interesting part: citrus peel, pepper, soft guava-like sweetness, floral notes, and dry earthy funk all hanging around together. It’s fruity, but not in a candy-watermelon way. One lab rat described it saying, “It’s like someone left a bowl of tropical fruit sitting next to a pepper grinder and a bag of weed.”
The Feels: The PhytoFacts effect profile leans strongly toward comfort, with a healthy amount of relaxation and calm, while still keeping some energy and inspiration in the mix.
For a sativa, this looks fairly balanced. There’s enough brightness to keep it moving, but the caryophyllene, humulene, linalool, and myrcene profile gives it a noticeably grounded side. This feels more like functional daytime relaxation than full-throttle stimulation.
Hot Guava by The Dope Depot tests at 86.97% total active cannabinoids and 6.17% terpene content. The cannabinoid profile is led by 81.0% THCA and 2.2% THC, followed by 1.7% CBGA, 1.0% CBCA, 0.7% THCVA, 0.2% CBDA, and 0.1% CBG.
The finished extract has a clean golden-orange color with a glossy, saucy consistency. It looks terp-heavy without being runny, with a smooth surface and just enough body to keep everything together.
Overall, Hot Guava is a sweet, citrus-forward sativa with a surprisingly strong pepper-and-earth backbone. The fruit is there, but the chemistry keeps dragging it back toward spice, herbs, florals, and dry funk.
That makes it more interesting than a straight tropical profile, which is fortunate, because cannabis has already produced enough strains that taste like somebody dissolved a bag of candy in lighter fluid.
As with all higher terpene extracts, keep the jar upright and be sure to give it a stir before you take a dab.
Rating: Our lab rats give Hot Guava 8.8 pieces of cheese.
