The Smells: Two-Ton Taffy opens sweet, citrusy, and peppery, but there’s enough earth and funk underneath to keep the name from overselling the candy side.
Beta-caryophyllene leads at 1.86%, so black pepper and dry spice make up a big chunk of the backbone. Limonene at 0.96% brings the brighter citrus side, while linalool at 0.66% adds a soft floral sweetness that plays nicely with the Blue Taffy and Candy Runtz genetics.
Then you’ve got alpha-humulene at 0.57% and myrcene at 0.48%, pulling things back toward earthy, herbal, and slightly musky territory. Sour Headband and Zour Diesel make a lot more sense once that side of the profile starts showing up.
The result is sweet without being candy-store obnoxious. Citrus, pepper, light floral sweetness, earth, and a little diesel-adjacent funk all seem to be crammed into the same jar, because apparently five strains weren’t enough chaos already.
The Tastes: The inhale starts with sweet citrus and a soft candy note, followed quickly by pepper and dry spice. There’s a little creamy floral character underneath, but the caryophyllene and humulene keep the whole thing from turning into dessert.
As it develops, the profile gets earthier and a little more herbal. The beta-pinene at 0.21%, fenchol at 0.18%, alpha-terpineol at 0.13%, and alpha-pinene at 0.11% add a faint fresh, woody, almost cooling edge around the heavier middle.
The exhale should land somewhere around sweet citrus peel, pepper, floral candy, and earthy fuel. The Taffy and Runtz side handles the sweetness, while White Truffle, Sour Headband, and Zour Diesel drag it back into something dirtier and more interesting.
The Feels: The PhytoFacts effect profile leans strongest toward comfort, with solid relaxation and calm, while still showing some energy and inspiration.
So despite the sativa label, this doesn’t look particularly sharp or aggressive. It reads more like functional uplift with a decent amount of body underneath it. Something for getting into a groove without feeling like your brain has been launched out of a railgun.
