The Smells: Right out of the jar, this leans into that familiar caryophyllene-heavy profile. At 2.46%, it’s doing most of the heavy lifting, backed by humulene at 0.86% and a modest amount of myrcene coming in at 0.49%.

What does that mean for the aroma? Our lab rats report slightly spicy earthy smells that clock a little musky, with just enough depth to feel intentional instead of muddy.

There’s a light citrus edge from the limonene at 0.48%, but it’s not leading the show. It’s more of a background brightness, like someone turned the saturation up just a little so everything doesn’t look dull and grey.

The Vanilla Trifle blend shows up in a subtle manner. Not dessert extract levels of sweet, but there’s a faint creamy softness rounding out the edges so it doesn’t come across harsh or one-dimensional.

The Tastes: On the inhale, you get a mild citrus lift, then it quickly settles into a warm, earthy body. The exhale is where the blend really shows itself.

Caryophyllene and humulene dominate, giving you that dry, slightly peppery finish, but it’s smoothed out by that faint vanilla-like sweetness lingering underneath. It doesn’t punch you with flavor. It builds it. Which, for a blend of blends, is probably the smartest outcome you could hope for.

The Feels: This sits squarely in hybrid territory without pretending to be anything else. You get a bit of mental lift up front, nothing overwhelming, just enough to keep things interesting. Then the body side starts creeping in, courtesy of that caryophyllene/myrcene combo, bringing a noticeable sense of comfort.

It’s not couchlock. It’s not energetic. It’s functional, balanced, and steady. The kind of effect that doesn’t demand attention but also doesn’t disappear into the background.

Overall, with 83% total active cannabinoids and 6.01% terpene content, Club Mercy by The Dope Depot isn’t trying to win a terpene contest. Although it could win a beauty contest that’s for sure.

Lower terpene percentage here actually helps avoid profile chaos. You’ve got just enough expression to give it character, without turning it into a confused mess of competing notes.

Visually, it’s clean, golden, and consistent. This is a controlled blend. Not flashy, not experimental for the sake of it, just a solid, well-integrated hybrid that makes sense from a formulation standpoint.

As with all high terpene extracts, be sure to keep the jar upright and give it a stir before you dab.

Rating: Our lab rats give Club Mercy 8 pieces of cheese.
