The Tastes: Our lab rats report that the beta-caryophyllene at 1.47% sets the base with that familiar comfy warm, peppery backbone. It’s the structural anchor here, keeping everything grounded. Humulene at 0.56% reinforces that dry, slightly bitter, earthy edge, which pushes the profile into that classic herbal-woody territory.

Then you get the Jack influence showing up. Terpinolene gives it a light herbal brightness while alpha-terpineol brings a soft floral, slightly lifted character to the profile. That combo gives it that slightly airy, almost “green tea meets citrus peel” vibe instead of anything heavy or sweet.

The limonene content pretty low at 0.14%, so the citrus note is faint. It’s more of a background brightness than any sort of defining feature. There’s a bit of rounding from the linalool and the fenchol as well.

On the exhale, it finishes earthy, slightly herbal, and lightly floral with a faint dry spice. Clean, yet not too indulgent.

The Feels: Pancake Jack sits right in that middle lane. Balanced, functional, nothing extreme. Effect-wise, this is a controlled sativa. Terpinolene and the small amount of limonene provide a mild mental lift. You get a bit of clarity and alertness, but it’s not aggressive.

The presence of THCV at 0.6% adds a slightly sharper, more focused edge to the experience, which helps keep it from feeling dull. Caryophyllene and humulene quickly ground the effect, preventing it from becoming jittery or overly energetic. Linalool softens the headspace just enough to keep things comfortable. The result is a steady, functional uplift.

Overall, with 77% total active cannabinoids and 4.91% terpene content, Pancake Jack by The Dope Depot is a straightforward, function-first cart. The terpene profile leans heavily on caryophyllene and humulene for structure, with terpinolene and terpineol adding a light, herbal brightness that reflects its Jack Herer side more than its dessert branding.

The “pancake” influence is subtle at best, showing up more as a soft, warm undertone than anything resembling sweetness. What you get is a clean, balanced, mildly uplifting cart that’s easy to use without overthinking it.
