Night Ryze Dab PhytoFact Sheet
The Smells: Night Ryze walks in heavy. Not loud in a fruit-bowl way. Loud in a “the pepper grinder has breached containment” kind of way.
Our lab rats report warm pepper, dry earth, woody resin, faint citrus peel, and a soft floral finish. Not sweet. Not flashy. Very grown-up, which is annoying but occasionally useful. We’re from the Toys r Us generation, which is why we never grew up.
Let’s see what the numbers say.
Beta-caryophyllene is absolutely dominating at 4.36%. That’s a monster number, and it gives Night Ryze a dense peppery, woody, slightly resinous backbone right out of the jar. This isn’t a faint spice note politely standing in the corner. This is caryophyllene grabbing the aux cord and ruining everyone’s delicate little playlist.
Backing that up is alpha-humulene at 1.58%, which adds a deep earthy, herbal, slightly bitter edge. Together, those two terpenes make up the core of this profile. Warm spice, dark wood, dry earth, and that grounded indica weight that feels like it has paperwork to file.
Limonene at 0.55% adds just enough lift to keep the whole thing from becoming too dark or flat. It’s not citrus-forward, but there’s a faint brightness cutting through the heavier spice. Linalool at 0.27% softens the edges with a mild floral sweetness, while caryophyllene oxide at 0.23% adds a slightly dry, woody, almost dusty herbal finish.
There’s barely any myrcene at 0.11%, so this isn’t getting its weight from the usual musky fruit route. This is spice-and-earth doing the heavy lifting.
The Tastes: The inhale is smooth, dense, and spice-forward immediately. Caryophyllene leads hard here, bringing warm black pepper, light wood, and a little resinous bite.
Mid-palate, the humulene adds a deeper earthy bitterness that gives the profile some real structure. It’s dry, herbal, and grounded, but not harsh. The limonene peeks through just enough to give it a small citrus lift. So smol.
The exhale leans peppery and earthy, with a dry woody finish that hangs around longer than expected. The linalool adds a small amount of softness at the end, but don’t expect dessert. This is not cake. This is not candy. This is a jar full of seasoned lumber and consequences, in the best possible way.
One lab rat described it as their personal “nighttime pepper resin,” which sounds like a rejected candle scent from a company trying too hard. The lab rats seem to love it.
The Feels: Night Ryze is an indica, and the numbers back that up in a slightly unconventional way. There’s not much myrcene here, but the huge caryophyllene and humulene combo brings a noticeable body-heavy calm.
The onset is fairly grounded from the start. You may get a small mental lift from the limonene, but it doesn’t take over. This isn’t bright, chatty, or mentally zippy. It’s more like your brain slowly dimming the unnecessary lights so your body can stop filing complaints.
Comfort is the main lane here. The PhytoFact wheel leans strongly into comfort, with calm and relaxation showing up behind it. That matches the terpene structure. Heavy spice, earthy depth, very little fruit, very little energetic push.
This feels like an evening extract. Post-work. Post-dinner. Post-being-forced-to-interact-with-the-public. It’s functional in smaller doses, but if you keep going, don’t act surprised when the couch starts making executive decisions.
As always, your mileage may vary depending on tolerance, dose, metabolism, and how much psychological damage your inbox caused today.
Overall, with 85% total active cannabinoids and 8.13% terpene content, Night Ryze by The Dope Depot delivers a terp-heavy indica profile built around spice, earth, and comfort.
Visually, it’s got a clean golden-orange color with a glossy, slightly wet consistency. A properly finished little puddle of bad decisions, which is really all we ask of the universe anymore.
It’s not the loudest fruit jar. It’s not trying to be. Night Ryze is darker, drier, spicier, and more grounded than that. A proper indica for people who want warmth, comfort, and maybe a brief escape from the meat circus.
As with all high terpene extracts, keep the jar upright and be sure to give it a stir before you dab.
Rating: Our lab rats give Night Ryze 7.3 pieces of cheese.
