The Tastes: On the inhale, expect bright citrus, soft fruit sweetness, and a little green herbal lift. The middle gets rounder and fuller, moving into ripe fruit, light floral sweetness, and a bit of earthy depth. The exhale finishes with pepper, dry wood, soft bitterness, and a faint musky fruit note that our lab rats really seemed to enjoy.
Let’s take a look at the numbers.
Beta-caryophyllene leads at 1.50%, giving Shirty Dirley its peppery backbone. It’s not as aggressive as some of the caryophyllene monsters we’ve seen lately, but it gives the profile enough structure to keep all that fruit and citrus from turning into vape-juice nonsense.
Limonene and myrcene are basically tied right behind it, with limonene at 1.25% and myrcene at 1.24%. That pairing is doing a lot of the flavor work. Limonene brings the citrus brightness, while myrcene adds ripe fruit body, herbal depth, and a softer musky base. Together, they make the profile feel bright up front but fuller through the middle.
Alpha-humulene at 0.57% adds dry earth and a slightly bitter edge to the finish. That helps ground the cart and gives it more classic cannabis character instead of letting the sweeter strains run the meeting, which would have been a disaster because there are like nine of them.
Linalool at 0.44% brings floral softness, smoothing the sharper citrus and pepper notes. Terpinolene at 0.35% adds a little bright herbal-fruit complexity, while alpha-pinene at 0.31% brings green lift. Fenchol at 0.22%, alpha-terpineol at 0.13%, beta-pinene at 0.10%, and beta-ocimene at 0.06% fill in the background with fresh herbal, piney, and lightly sweet edges.
The Feels: Shirty Dirley lands as a sativa, but not a sharp or frantic one. The limonene, terpinolene, and pinene give the onset some brightness, mental lift, and a little daytime movement. There’s enough sativa character here to feel usable and upbeat, but the myrcene and linalool soften the whole thing before it gets too twitchy.
The caryophyllene and humulene add comfort and structure, so the experience should stay fairly balanced. It reads like a bright, mood-lifting sativa with a calm body underneath, not a full goblin-mode cart for people who think anxiety is productivity.
Overall, with 84% total active cannabinoids and 6.81% terpene content, Shirty Dirley by The Dope Depot is a bright, fruit-citrus sativa with enough pepper, earth, and herbal structure to stay balanced.
The terpene profile is led by caryophyllene, limonene, myrcene, humulene, linalool, terpinolene, and pinene. That gives it citrus lift, ripe fruit body, peppery structure, floral smoothness, and a dry finish that keeps the blend from getting too sweet.
From a formulation standpoint, this works because the chaos is somehow organized. The fruit-heavy strains bring sweetness and brightness, the Haze/Mimosa/Jack-style pieces add lift, and the Chem/Sour/Carbon side gives it enough weight and structure to keep it from floating away.
Rating: Our lab rats give Shirty Dirley 8 pieces of cheese.
