The Smells: Bubba Jager II comes through as bright citrus peel, warm pepper, earthy spice, soft licorice-herbal funk, and a lightly creamy floral finish. It has a cleaner, brighter opening than the name might suggest, but the indica backbone is still there doing the structural work.

Let’s take a look at the numbers.

Beta-caryophyllene leads at 1.80%, giving Bubba Jager II its main spicy backbone. That brings warm pepper, light wood, and some grounded resin depth. It’s not an absurd caryophyllene number, but it is clearly steering the profile.

Limonene is close behind at 1.40%, which gives this one a pretty loud citrus top end. That brightens the Bubba Kush and Jager combo quite a bit, pushing the nose toward lemon peel, citrus oil, and a little sweet rind instead of just heavy earth and old-school indica funk.

Alpha-humulene at 0.69% adds dry earth and herbal depth, while linalool at 0.38% softens the whole thing with a floral, slightly creamy edge. Myrcene sits at 0.32%, adding a little body and fruit softness, but this is not a myrcene-heavy couch glue profile. The weight here is more caryophyllene, humulene, linalool, and cannabinoid strength doing their grim little committee meeting.

Fenchol at 0.29%, alpha-terpineol at 0.21%, beta-pinene at 0.19%, and alpha-pinene at 0.12% add small herbal, woody, fresh, and lightly creamy accents. Terpinolene is low at 0.03%, so this isn’t a sharp sativa-leaning herbal profile. It stays rounded.

All in all, our lab rats report citrus peel, pepper, earthy kush, soft herbal spice, faint floral cream, and a touch of Jager-like licorice funk. Bright up front, grounded underneath. A reasonably civilized indica, despite humanity’s long-running campaign against reasonable things.

The Tastes: The inhale starts smooth and citrus-forward. Limonene shows up early with lemon peel and light citrus oil, giving the first hit more brightness than expected.

Mid-palate, the caryophyllene and humulene start filling in the base. Warm pepper, dry earth, light wood, and a little resinous kush character come through underneath the citrus.

The linalool and fenchol soften the finish a bit, adding a smooth floral-herbal quality. The exhale lands peppery, earthy, citrusy, and lightly creamy, with a lingering herbal note that feels more old-school indica than candy strain shenanigans.

One lab rat called it “lemon-pepper Bubba with a tiny Jager mustache,” which is disgusting as imagery but pretty damn useful as a tasting note.

The Feels: Bubba Jager II is labeled indica, and the profile supports that, though it opens brighter than a dead-heavy night jar. The limonene gives it some lift at first, enough to keep the onset from feeling too sleepy or muddy.

After that, the caryophyllene, humulene, linalool, and myrcene settle things into a calmer, more comfortable lane. The PhytoFact wheel leans into comfort, inspiration, calm, energy, relaxation, and a little focus, which fits the numbers pretty well. There’s some brightness and mental movement up front, but the body side still catches up.

With 80.69% cannabinoids and 6.07% terpenes, Bubba Jager II has solid potency and a respectable terpene spread. THCA leads at 62.1%, with a fairly notable 15.6% THC, plus 1.3% CBGA, 0.9% CBCA, 0.3% THCVA, 0.2% CBG, 0.2% CBN, and 0.2% CBDA. That higher THC number gives this one a slightly different cannabinoid shape than a lot of the more THCA-dominant jars.

As always, your mileage may vary depending on dose, tolerance, and whether limonene-heavy indicas make you relaxed, talkative, or suddenly convinced you should clean one specific drawer at 11:47 PM.

Overall, Bubba Jager II by The Dope Depot is a bright, citrusy, peppery indica with earthy kush depth, soft herbal licorice, light floral cream, and a smooth grounded finish.

Visually, it has a deeper amber-golden, glossy wet consistency with a clean terp-rich pool. Nice clarity, good shine, no ugly separation, no dry crumble pretending it’s “rustic.” Cannabis marketing already commits enough crimes without that.

The biggest strength here is the contrast. Bubba Kush brings the earthy indica foundation, Jager adds herbal depth, and the limonene gives the whole thing a brighter citrus top end than expected. It does not land as a sleepy mud puddle. It has lift, spice, and enough old-school indica weight to stay true to the name.

Bubba Jager II is smooth, citrusy, earthy, lightly herbal, and comfortably grounded. A bright indica with enough pepper and kush backbone to keep the lemon from running the jar like an unsupervised toddler with a branding budget.

As with all high terpene extracts, keep the jar upright and be sure to give it a stir before you take a dab.

Rating: Our lab rats give Bubba Jager II 8.8 pieces of cheese.
