Lantz Dab PhytoFact Sheet
The Smells: Lantz comes across bright, sweet, citrusy, floral, peppery, and lightly earthy, with some berry-like fruit and soft herbal depth underneath. The nose looks much more layered than the simple “hybrid” label tells you, because apparently labels remain committed to doing the absolute minimum.
Let’s see what the numbers say.
Beta-caryophyllene narrowly takes the lead at 1.24%, giving Lantz a warm peppery, woody, lightly spicy backbone. Right behind it is limonene at 1.23%, which is nearly tied for first and gives the profile a strong citrus lift. That balance between caryophyllene and limonene is probably the main reason the nose feels both bright and structured instead of drifting too far into either candy or earth.
Linalool is unusually high at 1.10%, and that is one of the most interesting things about this profile. At that level, it should contribute a noticeable floral smoothness and soft sweetness, helping round off the sharper citrus and pepper.
Myrcene follows at 0.47%, adding some deeper fruit, earth, and herbal body. Alpha-humulene lands at 0.39%, bringing more dry earth, herbs, and woody depth.
Beta-pinene at 0.27%, fenchol at 0.17%, alpha-terpineol at 0.17%, and alpha-pinene at 0.13% add pine, fresh green herbs, soft wood, and some floral-creamy character around the edges.
All in all, our lab rats report citrus peel, sweet fruit, floral creaminess, warm pepper, light earth, herbs, and a faint piney finish. Bright enough to stay lively, but grounded enough that it does not float away wearing a flower crown.
The Tastes: The inhale starts sweet and citrusy, with bright lemon-like peel and soft fruit notes coming through first. That limonene gives the opening a clean top-end brightness, while the linalool softens it with a creamy floral quality. The combination gives Lantz a smooth, almost perfumed sweetness without turning soapy.
Mid-palate, the beta-caryophyllene comes forward with warm pepper and light woody spice. Myrcene adds a little deeper fruit and earth underneath, while humulene dries things out slightly with herbal and woody notes.
The pinene and fenchol bring some fresh green character into the finish, helping keep the profile from becoming too sweet or floral.
The exhale lands citrusy, floral, peppery, and lightly earthy, with some soft fruit and herbal sweetness hanging around afterward.
One lab rat described it as lemon candy, flowers, and pepper over a little earthy fruit. Somehow much better in a dab than it sounds written down, which is true of roughly half this job.
The Feels: Lantz is labeled hybrid, and the profile supports a fairly balanced but comfort-leaning direction. The PhytoFact wheel shows strong comfort and relaxation, with some calm and inspiration, plus smaller amounts of energy and focus. That lines up pretty well with the terpene spread.
Limonene should give the profile some lift, while linalool, caryophyllene, myrcene, and humulene pull things toward a softer, more grounded experience. The end result looks more balanced than sedating, with enough brightness to keep the head involved while the heavier terpenes smooth out the edges.
With 88.46% cannabinoids and 5.86% terpenes, Lantz has strong potency with a substantial terpene profile. THCA leads at 83.8%, followed by THC at 2.8%, CBCA at 0.8%, CBGA at 0.6%, THCVA at 0.2%, CBDA at 0.2%, and CBG at 0.1%.
The interesting part is how evenly the top of the terpene profile is distributed. Instead of one terpene completely dominating, beta-caryophyllene, limonene, and linalool all sit above 1%, creating a much more layered profile than you get from the usual “caryophyllene plus everybody else trying to survive” arrangement.
As always, your mileage may vary depending on dose, tolerance, and whether floral-citrus hybrids make you relaxed, creative, chatty, or suddenly willing to explain your entire music library to somebody who absolutely did not ask.
Overall, Lantz by The Dope Depot is a bright, floral, citrus-forward hybrid with sweet fruit, warm pepper, light earth, herbs, and soft pine.
Visually, it has a rich golden-yellow color with a wet, glossy, slightly granular texture. There is visible crystallization throughout the surface with plenty of terpene sheen, giving it that nice saucy sugar consistency without looking separated or dry.
The biggest strength here is the balance between the top three terpenes. 1.24% beta-caryophyllene, 1.23% limonene, and 1.10% linalool is a pretty interesting trio, especially with none of them completely bullying the others out of the room.
Lantz is bright without being sharp, floral without being perfumey, and peppery without losing the sweet citrus-fruit character underneath.
As with all high terpene extracts, keep the jar upright and be sure to give it a stir before you take a dab.
Rating: Our lab rats give Lantz 8.4 pieces of cheese.
