The Tastes: On the inhale, expect bright citrus and peppery spice with a little floral sweetness hanging around the edges. The middle moves into dry earth, herbal funk, and a slightly musky body, while the exhale finishes woody, peppery, lightly bitter, and faintly floral. It’s not so much a delicate flower garden as it’s like someone planted flowers next to a diesel generator and somehow made that useful. Nature is weird, but weed is weirder. That’s’ why we love it!

Let’s see what the numbers say.

Beta-caryophyllene at 3.49% is the main event. That’s a serious number, and it gives Gastro Flora a dense peppery backbone with woody, resinous depth underneath. With Gastro Dog in the blend, that makes sense. This terpene is doing the structural work and keeping the profile from floating off into soft floral haze.

Alpha-humulene at 1.40% backs that up with dry earth, slight bitterness, and a hoppy edge. Together, caryophyllene and humulene make up more than half the terpene profile, so the flavor leans grounded, spicy, and earthy before anything else gets a vote.

Limonene at 0.70% brings the brighter top note. It shows up as sweet citrus peel on the inhale, giving the profile some lift before the heavier spice and earth settle in. It’s enough to brighten the blend, but not enough to turn this into a citrus cart wearing a fake mustache.

Myrcene at 0.52% adds some body and mild herbal musk, while linalool at 0.42% brings floral softness. That linalool is where the Lilac Thai side starts to make itself known, smoothing out the sharper edges and giving the middle of the profile a softer aromatic layer.

There’s also alpha-pinene at 0.42%, terpinolene at 0.39%, alpha-terpineol at 0.11%, beta-ocimene at 0.10%, and beta-pinene at 0.10%. That supporting cast adds green lift, a little sweet-herbal brightness, and some extra floral complexity around the edges.

The Feels: Gastro Flora lands as a balanced hybrid, but it has a strong grounded streak. The limonene, pinene, and terpinolene give the onset some brightness and mental movement. There’s enough lift here to keep it from feeling flat or overly heavy right away.

Then the caryophyllene, humulene, myrcene, and linalool start pulling things back toward comfort and calm. The experience should settle into a more body-aware, relaxed lane without completely shutting down the headspace.

Overall, with 78% total active cannabinoids and 9.12% terpene content, Gastro Flora by The Dope Depot is a terp-heavy hybrid with a strong pepper-and-earth backbone and a softer floral-citrus layer on top.
