The Tastes: On the inhale, expect sweet citrus and fresh green brightness with a little soft berry-like sweetness underneath. The middle moves into pepper, dry earth, and herbal spice, while the exhale finishes woody, lightly bitter, and gently floral. It has a brighter top end than some of the heavier caryophyllene carts we’ve been seeing, but it still keeps one foot firmly planted in actual cannabis flavor.

Let’s see what the numbers say.

Beta-caryophyllene at 2.75% is the backbone here. That gives Laughing Blue Grass a strong peppery structure with woody, resinous depth underneath. Even with a playful sativa name, this profile isn’t floating around with no skeleton. Caryophyllene is doing the adult supervision.

Limonene at 1.14% brings the bright citrus layer. That shows up early on the inhale as sweet citrus peel and a little tangy lift. It gives the profile some movement and helps the Out of the Blue and Trop Boof side feel more lively.

Alpha-humulene at 0.95% reinforces the dry, earthy side with a slightly bitter edge. Together with caryophyllene, it keeps the finish grounded and prevents the sweeter notes from turning into fruit-cart nonsense.

Alpha-pinene at 0.84% is one of the more interesting pieces here. That’s a solid amount, and it brings fresh pine, green lift, and a sharper sense of clarity to the profile. Beta-pinene at 0.24% backs that up with a little extra evergreen bite.

Linalool at 0.51% adds floral softness, while myrcene at 0.42% gives the profile a bit of body without making it feel too heavy. Fenchol at 0.26% and alpha-terpineol at 0.20% add some fresh herbal and lightly floral complexity around the edges.

The Feels: Laughing Blue Grass lands as a sativa with some real structure behind it. The limonene and pinene combination should give the onset a noticeable lift, with a brighter, clearer headspace up front. It doesn’t look like a chaotic sativa, though. The caryophyllene and humulene keep things grounded, while the linalool and myrcene soften the landing.

This should feel functional, upbeat, and comfortable rather than racy or overly sharp. The chart also points toward comfort being a major part of the experience, which makes sense with this much caryophyllene and humulene in the mix. So yes, it’s a sativa, but not the kind that makes you reorganize your life at 11:47 PM with the confidence of a doomed entrepreneur.

The cannabinoid profile adds a little extra interest too. Alongside 72.4% THC, this batch carries 1.8% CBG, 1.4% CBC, 0.4% THCV, 0.3% CBN, and 0.1% CBD. That gives it a decent supporting cannabinoid spread, especially with the CBG and CBC numbers, though exact effects still depend on dose, tolerance, and whatever your nervous system decided to be dramatic about today.

Overall, with 76% total active cannabinoids and 8.28% terpene content, Laughing Blue Grass by The Dope Depot is a bright, terp-heavy sativa with a strong pepper-and-earth backbone.

The profile is built around caryophyllene, limonene, humulene, pinene, and linalool, giving it citrus lift, green freshness, dry spice, floral softness, and enough structure to keep the whole thing from getting flimsy.

From a formulation standpoint, this works because the bright sativa elements aren’t left hanging by themselves. The citrus and pine bring the energy, while the pepper, earth, and floral notes give the profile shape.
